When business growth required American Building Contractors (ABC), one of the country’s largest privately owned roofing contractors, to build a new headquarters in Burnsville, Minnesota, they contacted EFH. The original plan was to build one very large building, but EFH found a prime location with site parameters that better suited a 2-building project, resulting in not only a new headquarters, but also additional lease space that created an investment opportunity for the owner.

The new site plan was designed to take advantage of increased traffic patterns and improved accessibility for loading, with room to create more forward thinking solutions as their needs evolve. The prime location and site design resulted in almost immediate occupancy of both buildings.

The design/build project was completed by EFH Co. in only 180 days and entailed construction of an industrial, multi-building project adjacent to a residential area, featuring a maintenance-free precast exterior with architectural accents. EFH Realty Advisors performs ongoing leasing and property management services for both buildings.
