EFH Co., a 3rd generation, Minnesota-based company, has served the needs of this 109-year old, 4th generation, locally owned candy maker for years, so when it was time to expand, we got right to work looking for a “sweet” location.

Starting with an extensive site search, EFH Realty Advisor's brokerage team located a suitable site with the desired visibility, traffic counts and zoning to house both manufacturing and retail uses with capacity for their planned, ongoing expansion.  EFH spearheaded all government approvals, and assisted in the creation of a tax-increment financing (TIF) district, amendments to the local zoning code and in obtaining state funding for construction.

Abdallah Candies' new 88,000 square foot design-build, food-grade manufacturing and retail facility opened with a ribbon cutting on January 26, 2017.  The Wells Concrete precast panel building (utilized for its known high quality and food-grade compatibility), was completed in just 180 days, including extensive soil correction prior to the start of the build.
